Senior Fire Engineer – Energy

Location: Newcastle, Glasgow, Warrington, Gloucester, Bristol or Knutsford, UK (flexible options available).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop fire safety strategies to meet Building Regulations and fire safety legislation.
• Provide design solutions covering means and escape, detection and alarm, structural fire protection, suppression, and firefighting access.
• Conduct conventional fire assessments / fire risk assessments and support ALARP demonstrations.
• Perform fire modelling using empirical hand calculations and software (e.g., CFAST, CFD).

Education, Experience & Skills

• STEM degree (desirable but not essential).
• Membership with recognised institution such as the Institution of Fire Engineers (desirable but not essential).
• Fire safety engineering experience covering key responsibilities.
• Experience with prescriptive codes (e.g., ADIB, BS 9999).
