Senior Hardware Design Engineer

**Job Description**

**DUTIES:** Works on product development and integration activities. Utilizes engineering tools, schematics, layout, and processes to successfully develop components and systems for vehicle programs. Leads electrical designs through component selection and schematic/layout review. Identifies leading IC and component suppliers which meet/exceed GM performance requirements. Supports Tier1’s as the GM technical lead with selected Tier2/Tier3 designs. Maintains specific subsystem requirements optimized and up to date with the latest technology and market trend. Optimizes five-point (Temp/Voltage) parametric performance of your subsystem for end of line production tests. Continues the design support and troubleshooting for current model products and issues. Improves development cycles for robust product design. Supports or leads as appropriate, packaging, EMC, Thermal, power and vehicle integration.
