Senior Inventory Accountant

JOB SUMMARY
• A direct link between Finance and Supply Chain, the Senior Inventory Accountant provides support from the front to the back end of Supply Chain in order to ensure proper audit, control and forensic analysis of inventory related issues. The person needs to be able to have a keen knowledge of system and inventory processes, be able to drill issues, prepare ad hoc reports, work across functions and make informed presentation of relevant issues to the Management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Forensic accounting analysis of inventory issues, able to link floor processes and MAPICS system, and document SOPs for control and follow up.
• Weekly review of usage variance with the Warehouse team, follow up issues and ensure compliance. Metrics: Material usage variance report (IP, RS, IS, IA), scrap report, RP report.
