Senior lecturer/associate professor/professor: education studies (p07/06/05)

Purpose

The Department of Education Studies at Sol Plaatje University seeks to appoint a Professor/Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer. As a senior academic, the incumbent will be expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules, lead curriculum/programme development, and establish a research programme in Education Studies, as well as be involved in growing a research community with a focus on inclusive rural school contexts in the faculty, and raise the necessary funds to support such research.

Minimum Requirements Professor Ph D degree with specialisation in Education Studies (Educational Psychology/ Psychology of Education, and/or Inclusive Education) At least ten (10) years relevant lecturing experience with substantial experience at Associate Professor level in Education Studies at a Higher Education institution.
