Opportunity Description
The Senior Machinist role carries ultimate accountability for the assigned section. Working alongside the Senior Welder and Senior Technician, the collective goal is to enhance efficiency while maintaining quality and cost standards. Responsibilities encompass overseeing team leave, coordinating weekend overtime through the Workshop Coordinator, and guaranteeing access to essential tools and equipment. Effective utilization of the iFlight system is crucial for requisitioning parts and materials, enabling timely issuance by Stores or ordering by Production.
Job Responsibilities
- Utilization of iFlight/Intranet to request Material Requisitions against jobs for missing items
- Provide Clarification with scope of works to respective teams and identify required/missing spares, parts and tooling working with Production Engineer to raise PR Requests if not available from Material Requisition System
