Senior Manager / Manager (Procurement Services)

What the role is The candidate will be part of VITAL's Procurement Services team responsible for analysing government expenditure, developing and managing VITAL Procurement Services Program for the Public Sector, as well as supporting VITAL’s Service Partners in procurement processes. The objective is to deliver cost savings, improve processes and services.
What you will be working on
Analyse government spend data to make informed decisions, develop strategies for strategic sourcing, demand aggregation and contract management, and identify opportunities for cost consolidation, optimisation and process improvement.
Manage the end‑to‑end procurement cycle from research, planning and preparing tender specifications, managing the tender process from publishing to evaluating and awarding.
Lead contract negotiations and ensure effective management of all existing contracts related to the government procurement services programme.
