Senior Mechanical Engineer

At Sartorius, we are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. In this on-site role, you will be responsible for conducting product development activities within the Product Development – Mechanical Engineering team according to the Sartorius Product Development Life Cycle process. You will work with a team of engineers and scientists to conceive, model, prototype, and test laboratory products in accordance with established requirements, goals, and objectives.

What you will accomplish together with us:
+ Develop mechanical designs for new laboratory products
+ Prototype mechanical designs in-house using commercial 3D printers and metalworking machinery
+ Partner with machine shops and manufacturing houses to produce parts for Sartorius instruments, coordinating technical communication to ensure adherence to design specifications
