Senior Mechanical Engineer – CTAO-South Site Ops

Big Science Sweden is in search of a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the CTAO-South project at the La Silla Paranal Observatory in Chile. The role requires overseeing the procurement, installation, and operation of various mechanical systems, including power generators and handling equipment.

The ideal candidate will facilitate the installation of Cherenkov telescopes and assist in ongoing maintenance operations. A strong technical background in mechanical engineering and experience with site operations are essential for this position.
