Senior Mechanical Engineer

Purpose of the job

We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge and practical application of mechanical engineering within highly regulated industry sectors.

Senior Engineer role

The Senior Engineer defines and distributes the scope of work and ensures that the project is executed safely, on time and at appropriate levels of quality, and is responsible for the delivery of engineering to meet the requirements of the technical specification.

In addition to project‑specific responsibilities, the Senior Engineer will supervise less experienced engineering employees, contribute to engineering resource management, recruitment, and tendering support.

Reports to Principal Engineer or the Project Engineering Manager / Nominated Engineer depending on the complexity of the project assignment.
