The Opportunity

You will be a senior technical leader within our Mine Waste team, guiding complex projects and helping advance safe, sustainable mining across Canada. Based in Mississauga, Ottawa, or Thunder Bay, you will influence strategy, empower teams, and strengthen WSP’s industry‑leading mining practice. Your Impact

Lead the design, review, and optimization of tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, and mine water management systems. Oversee and integrate advanced geotechnical, hydrogeological, and geochemical investigations into major mining programs. Provide strategic guidance on environmental planning, permitting pathways, regulatory engagement, and risk‑management frameworks. Mentor, coach, and uplift teams of junior, intermediate, and senior engineers, building technical depth and excellence across the group.
