Senior Occupational Therapist

The Senior Occupational Therapist is responsible for assisting in the management of a specialised workgroup and for providing specialised assessment and treatment to patients referred for occupational therapy. He / She will assist in the supervision of occupational therapists AH11/12 and therapy assistants deployed to the workgroup. Job Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities .
Assesses and manages patients referred for occupational therapy independently and implement appropriate treatment plans, applying specialised occupational therapy knowledge and skills. .
Reports to referring doctor and other members of the medical team. .
Documents patient occupational therapy records accurately. .
Charges patients accurately. .
Updates individual performance statistical records monthly. .
Complies with clinical and service standards. .
