Opportunity Description
Amentum is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join our dynamic team to support the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington, DC. This role will work directly with trial attorneys, investigators, and other staff at the Affirmative Litigation Section of the Enforcement and Affirmative Litigation Branch.
Responsibilities include:
+ Conduct factual and legal research in legal and non-legal reference sources and databases
+ Utilizes the court's electronic case filing program and apply knowledge of local court rules and procedures for preparing and filing legal documents
+ Review and cite check briefs and other court filings according to Bluebook standards
+ High level of proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
+ Review, process, and prepare litigation documents covering legal issues as a case progresses through administrative or judicial litigation
