The Pharmacy department is looking for senior pharmacy support workers/officers to dispense, prepare medicines and assist the pharmacy services medicines management activities.

Successful applicants will be fully supported within the role and the possibility to progress will be available for suitable candidates. 

This role is based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will:

Dispense and prepare drugs for all patients including inpatients, outpatients, patients receiving chemotherapy, clinics, and community hospitals.

Assist the pharmacy workflow by prioritising own workload and under the instruction of those responsible for that area.
