Senior Policy Officer

THE ROLE
Working in the Child Protection Policy and Legislation unit within the Children and Families Division, this senior position will undertake a range of policy work and lead and contribute to priority projects and initiatives related to the statutory Child Protection system.
This will involve supporting the Manager and team members with research activities, preparation of policy papers and briefs, and maintaining effective relationships across the department. You will lead and contribute to policy advice regarding the Child Protection system and the legislation underpinning Child Protection in Victoria.
The position will contribute to a team with policy and project delivery responsibilities, requires high level written and verbal communication skills and will be required to contribute to a variety of work priorities within the unit.
