Senior Power Analyst

The Senior Analyst leads the fundamental strategy and analytical needs of the European Power desk at Citi, provides power forecasts from day-ahead to long-term horizon up to 10 years. In coordination with the Trading team, the overall objective of this role is to create ideas for market hedging, relative value opportunities and long-term investment decisions.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Lead the build out and maintenance of the data analytics, European power stack and a data visualization hub for the desk
+ Assist in recognising relative value market opportunities and hedging strategies through a fundamental approach and propose trading strategies to monetise those fundamental views.
+ Coordinate with Sales, Research and other organizations across Markets and Securities Services and the broader business to provide updates and views for the European Power market
