Job PurposeThe Technical Sales Consultant’s primary responsibility is to provide technical leadership to sales account managers throughout the complete cycle of sales opportunities. These pre‑sales activities include developing opportunities with sales (including partners) and marketing, attending meetings and providing ideas and opinions to achieve the best solution for the customer, delivering technical presentations and demos, creating architecture diagrams, software bill of materials and technical write‑ups for proposal work, working with Services to establish scope of work and estimates, and providing product or solution training to internal teams and external customers.
