Opportunity Description

Overview

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

Create, validate and reconcile datasets for analysis and undertake analysis by writing and manipulating code

Support in the creation, maintenance and deployment of rating models that predict claims cost

Contribute to the specification, development and testing cycles for deployment of rates

Consider the impact on customers of pricing actions and act to avoid any unfair treatment

Qualifications required:

Excellent numerical mathematical skills (a degree in a mathematics related discipline or evidence of equivalent proficiency).

Experience required:

Experience in a related Insurance Pricing role is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of predictive modelling for claims cost.

Advanced level knowledge of products such as Python, SQL, Databricks and geographic analysis tools is desirable.
