**Job Description**

**DUTIES** : Guide strategic suppliers in the design, integration and execution of automated robotic cells for high volume manufacture of next-generation GM battery electric vehicle programs. Develop strategic suppliers in GM vehicle system controls standards for automation systems for GM RESS programs. Responsible for the design, layout, installation, configuration, implementation, and validation of automated manufacturing and assembly systems for GM plant facilities. Evaluate automation requirements necessary to achieve RSS production objectives and plan controls schematics to achieve required automation levels. Implement innovative manufacturing engineering concepts involving machine designs and process requirements for vehicle manufacturing and assembly processes.
