Senior Project Accountant

Description We are looking for a Senior Project Accountant to oversee the financial activity of a portfolio of rental housing projects in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate property-level accounting, supporting budgeting and cash planning, and delivering timely reporting for stakeholders and leadership. The position also plays a key role in compliance activities, audit coordination, and collaboration with operational teams to strengthen financial performance and resolve accounting issues across assigned projects.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain complete and accurate financial records for assigned properties, including rental revenue, operating costs, maintenance expenses, utilities, taxes, and other project-related transactions.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for accruals, prepaid items, intercompany charges, payroll allocations, reimbursements, and other recurring accounting activity.
