Senior project developer

A leading international energy company is seeking a Senior Project Developer to join its Business Development team, supporting growth across the Sub-Saharan African region. Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Head of Business Development, you will:

Develop a strong understanding of legislation related to conventional energy investments (with a focus on gas-fired generation) and monitor regulatory developments

Analyse the competitive landscape to support strategic decision-making

Assess financing solutions for energy projects and their impact on business models

Support partner identification and acquisition strategies aligned with business needs

Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including:

Greenfield developments

Acquisitions

Competitive tenders (public and private)

Bilateral commercial agreements with large off-takers
