Senior Rail Construction Manager – Greater Toronto Area

HDR is seeking a Senior Rail Construction Manager to join our Transportation – Construction Services team. The role reports to the group lead and is responsible for leading the delivery of freight rail projects during construction, overseeing HDR’s scope of services including Construction Project Management, Owner’s Representative, and Construction Observation.

Responsibilities

• Promote and oversee implementation of health and safety regulations.
• Provide Construction Project Management and oversight during construction.
• Administer the construction phase of a project, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Manage a multi‑discipline design team to produce high quality deliverables, meet schedules and stay within project budgets.
• Provide oversight and be responsible for projects and for the work of multiple teams.
