Senior Regional Leader, Latin America & Caribbean

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) seeks an experienced Assistant Director-General/Regional Representative for its Latin America and the Caribbean office in Santiago, Chile. In this senior-level role, you will oversee the implementation of regional strategies for food security and rural development.

Your responsibilities will include leading strategic activities, representing FAO at regional forums, and promoting agricultural innovation in line with sustainability goals. This position reports directly to the Chief Economist and offers a fixed term of two years with the possibility of extension.
