Senior Research Architect – SoC Architectures

A Senior Research Engineer SoC Architecture is sought by this leading communications organisation to be based at their R+D Centre in Zurich.

The Senior Research Engineer SoC Architecture will be responsible for researching emerging computing architectures for next generation wireless systems. The Senior Research Engineer SoC will also analyse architectural trade-offs, support SoC system design and development, and research optimisation of CPU microarchitectures to improve overall SoC performance.

You will have completed your PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar, coupled with 4+ years of experience in software/hardware co-design within SoC design and development and wireless base station communication systems. Experience of software/hardware interfaces and wireless/cellular technologies (LTE, 5G NR, PHY Layer) is all beneficial.
