Senior Research Engineer, TCOMS

Contribute to high‑quality research and development work in the TCOMS laboratory through physical experiments including:

• Design of scaled physical test models, such as maritime vessels, offshore rigs, marine renewable platforms, and aquaculture systems for testing in the TCOMS Ocean Basin.
• Generation of detailed design, production, assembly, and as‑built drawings of test models.
• Work with a team of engineers and technicians on model fabrication and modification, calibration, instrumentation, and experimental setup.
• Enhance the measurement of models? behaviour and response by use of appropriate sensors.
• Document design processes, methodologies, and results.
• Contribute to process enhancements for improved efficiency of research work.
