Senior Sales Representative

Job Description

As a Senior Sales Representative, you will report to the Sales Manager and work closely with the team of account managers. Your primary role involves purchasing scrap metal products from dealers and inter‑company sources while developing and maintaining outstanding business relationships with new and existing customers. This position requires collaboration with all staff and departments, as well as with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing scrap metal to meet or exceed tonnage targets while maximizing profit margins.
• Visiting dealers and industrial suppliers, by phone or in person, to promote new and repeat business, offer pricing, provide customer service, answer questions, handle complaints, and build relationships.
• Developing reliable contact networks that provide up‑to‑date information regarding buy/sell prices and local and regional market trends.
