Senior Social Worker - Acute Medicine/Surgery

Summary The Senior Social Worker is assigned to the acute medicine/surgery unit at the Gainesville VA Medical Center, located in Gainesville, Florida. The Senior Social Worker is responsible for providing assessment, discharge planning, and crisis intervention services to Veterans, their families/caregivers on the acute care medicine, surgery, neurology, intensive care inpatient units, emergency department and outpatient clinics.
