We are looking for a Senior Social Worker (grade 10-11 pay scale) to join our Social Care Team based in Pioneer Court, Normanton. The role supports clients aged 18-65 with diagnosed mental health conditions across the Wakefield District.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct Care Act assessments, risk assessments, and develop person‑centred care plans.
• Commission and coordinate services for clients within the Wakefield catchment area.
• Collaborate with NHS partners and multidisciplinary teams.
• Serve on the AMHP/BIA rota, oversee student social workers, and manage a complex caseload.
• Prepare reports, attend court, and support carers and families.
