Opportunity Description

  • Implement and test instrument automation integrations following defined specifications and communication standards.
  • Configure connectivity using OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, REST APIs, or other common industrial protocols.
  • Build automation demos, prototypes, and pilot systems involving instruments, robotics, sensors, and digital tools.
  • Develop reusable scripts, templates, and configuration packages that support consistent automation integration across product lines.
  • Collaborate with internal automation teams (, Spinnaker, AMRs, FastTrak) to assemble and validate end-to-end automated workflows.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues and document repeatable processes for broader engineering use.
  • Support sales, field teams, and applications engineers by preparing demo systems and technical enablement materials.
  • Provide input on how instruments could be easier to automate
