**The Role**
The Senior Software Engineering Manager for the GM Home Energy team is responsible for **setting the technical and organizational direction and leading multiple engineering teams** that deliver new and innovative software solutions for the GM Energy business domain, including GM Home Energy and related programs.
They will own delivery for high impact customer and partner experiences across mobile, web, integrations, and data services that power capabilities such as energy program enrollment, home energy management, leasing and sales workflows, partner integrations, and grid/DER engagement platforms.
The ideal candidate has:
+ A strong background in software architecture and engineering for cloud-native, data-intensive systems.
+ Deep experience integrating across enterprise and external ecosystems (utilities, installers, OEM systems).
