Senior Technical Manager – UNSW Engineering

The Opportunity
The role entails developing and establishing School wide policies and procedures within the bounds of UNSW and other statutory guidelines to enable the efficient operation of laboratories and other technical services. The incumbent will implement and monitor safe running laboratories and technical services, liaise with Faculty and University management and provide advice as required for developing and implementing University wide technical/infrastructure projects and operation. The role reports to Professor Cordelia Selomulya, Head of School.

The successful candidate will be required to work on campus at UNSW, Kensington, on a Full‑Time basis (5 days per week). This role is not suitable for remote or hybrid arrangements. Given the operational nature of the position, the candidate must also be contactable on weekends and available to respond in the event of an urgent or unforeseen emergency.
