PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £32,900 - £39,467 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Senior Technical Operator (STO) will be based in the BBC Stornoway office, working with BBC Naidheachdan journalists across the Western Isles.

The STO will perform various roles to gather, edit and broadcast content on BBC ALBA, Radio nan Gaidheal and social media platforms and will work very closely with editorial colleagues to deliver the ambitious and high‑quality news content that our audiences expect.
