As a Senior Technical Buyer, your primary responsibility will be operational – you will manage the procurement of material and spare parts required for our project in Tanzania (construction of a jetty). You will offer technical assistance and know-how in relation to alternative materials, techniques, services, methods, suppliers aiming to added value for the project and the client. You will be responsible to make proposals for improvements within the project. You will participate to cost reduction programs within the equipment categories including commercial levers, market knowledge, synergies and technical improvements. You will maintain the suppliers’ database in your field of activity, including the market intelligence, and a pricing base.
