Senior Technician - AMR Microbiology

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a 12‑month fixed term (starting in September) full‑time Senior Technician role to join our Microbiology AMR team within the Health Security Group, based at Kenepuru Science Centre, Porirua. This role performs routine and non‑routine laboratory analysis of clinical samples, undertakes testing using microbiological and molecular techniques, performs calculations, and interprets results relevant to antimicrobial resistance surveillance and reference testing.
