Service Technician

Job Purpose:

Responsible to execute and support the inspections, servicing, repairs, modernizations and installation on cranes and related components and equipment for all crane brands. Also ensuring that related inspections; load testing; etc. comply to the statutory/legal requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

• Compile and maintain safety files as required as per regulatory, compliance and customer requirements
• Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes
• Perform thorough inspections, breakdowns and repairs in a timely manner and in accordance with the service contracts or other requirements
• Carry out fault finding to ensure that cranes are thoroughly assessed in accordance with stipulated procedures, isolate the problem and take or recommend action to minimise downtime
