DEWALT Tool Repair Technician

Based in Mississauga, Ontario, reporting to the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities

• Estimation and completion of repairs, including proper identification of SKUs and parts needed
• Processing of service work orders, logging, tracking, follow‑up
• Provide over‑the‑counter repairs for Black & Decker, DEWALT, Stanley and Bostitch tools
• Provide technical assistance to distributors, end users and staff
• Process customer requirements, parts, accessories and products through POS terminal and internal computer network (SAP/MGV)
• Provide parts identification, product application and product information to customers by phone, counter, mail and fax
• Verify and administer warranty on products through date codes and parts condition identification
• Inventory control – ordering parts and product SKUs to maintain service levels at established inventory turns
