Your Opportunity:

The FMC OR is the Adult Quaternary Level 1 Trauma Centre serving Southern Alberta and surrounding areas. Our OR includes 32 operating rooms and surgeries are performed 365 days per year. Our multidisciplinary team includes Surgeons, Anesthesia, Perioperative RNs, ORTs, RN First Assists and support staff. We proudly provide surgical interventions for over 22,000 patients yearly with the highest standard of care.Under the guidance and supervision of the perioperative registered nurse and immediate supervisor, the Service Worker 2 (SW2) assists with collection of necessary equipment during the set up in theatres for each surgical procedure as assigned. The respective documented preference list, RN(s) and immediate supervisor are used for direction.
