Our client is seeking an experienced SHEQ Officer to join the Port Elizabeth team,
Responsibilities Implement and maintain SHE systems in compliance with: Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993) Environmental legislation and permits Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments Identify hazards and ensure effective control measures are implemented Facilitate incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Maintain SHE records, registers, and statutory documentation Coordinate medical surveillance and fitness-for-duty requirements Ensure correct use of PPE and enforce site safety rules Assist with emergency preparedness and response planning Conduct internal quality audits and inspections Monitor adherence to company procedures, work instructions, and client specifications Assist with document control and quality records management Conduct SHEQ inductions for...
