Cleveland-Cliffs LLC has an immediate opportunity for a Shift Manager of Operations at the Monessen, PA location. The Shift Manager Operations is responsible for managing a shift crew to meet the required production and quality goals. The individual must be self-motivated/self-directed and demonstrate the ability to lead a complex workforce and be capable of working in extreme environmental conditions in a multi-tiered production facility.
Summary of Responsibilities:
+ Directly manages a crew of hourly represented employees, with indirect supervisory responsibilities over Shift Maintenance personnel while facilitating a safe and productive work environment.
+ Troubleshoots and investigates operational issues.
+ Planning and establishing work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
