Description of Role, Key Duties and Responsibilities

The key role of shipbroker (LPG) involves providing services of intermediation and negotiation between ship owners and ship charterers inconnection with the ocean transport of liquified petroleum gas and related products. He/She will need to be a well-organized, detail-oriented with an influential personality and stellar negotiation skills.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

(i) Highlighting fixture opportunities to clients

(ii) Developing / expanding a client base

(iii) Understanding the business strategy for the LPG division and seeking to identify new business opportunities relating to trends,future markets, products and clients

(iv) Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the LPG marketspace

(v) Performing market analysis and providing market insight and trade ideas to clients
