Shipbroker (0091 June 2024)

We are currently seeking a Shipbroker to join our client team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling broking activities, including newbuilding contracts, vessels chartering on a long-term basis, sale and purchase transactions, and maintaining good business relationships with clients.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• A background in shipping or a related field, although candidates from other related fields will also be considered.
• A strong desire to excel in the shipping industry and the motivation to achieve success.
• A quick learning ability with strong numerical skills.
• An enjoyment for traveling and meeting new people.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• The ability to work independently and perform sales calls and coordination tasks.
