**Job Summary:**
The Shipping & Receiving Assistant supports the shipping and receiving operations within the organization. This position is critical in ensuring efficient movement and accurate handling of materials throughout the facility.

**Essential Functions:**


+ Stage products between receiving and shipping departments
+ Prepare and package shipments; create shipping notices
+ Confirm incoming shipments against packing lists and perform basic computer entries
+ Monitor inventory movement and assist with annual physical inventory counts
+ Communicate with other departments regarding shipments
+ Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move pallets
+ Maintain cleanliness in shipping and storage areas
+ Assist in unloading trucks
+ Follow instructions and duties as assigned by supervisors
