Shop Assistant

Main Purpose of the Position

Responsible for serving customers and processing sales transactions, as well as certain stock-related transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Counter Sales – ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Warehouse – stock receiving, dispatching, picking off stock, and stock takes.
• Colour Matching.
• Maintaining outstanding store conditions and visual merchandising standards.
• Health and Safety.
• Receiving, processing and organizing shipments and deliveries accordingly.
• Stock deliveries to customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 with a valid driver’s license.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Minimum of 2‑3 years retail experience.
