Shop Technician

Palco Power Systems , a subsidiary of Scott Electric Company, has an immediate opening for a Shop Technician professional in our Jeannette, PA branch.

Responsibilities:


+ Read Schematics and be able to trouble shoot electrical circuits

+ Modifications to Generators – conduit liquid tight

+ Wiring Lights, light switches, receptacles, space heaters, load centers, block heaters, strip heaters,

+ Perform load banks

+ Change voltage and solenoid coils

+ Change or add main line breakers

+ Cut panels

+ Straighten and paint panels on damaged generators

+ Install user interface covers on transfer switches

+ Repair and change engines

+ Welding and fabricating

+ Plasma Cutter, porta band, jig saw, reciprocating saw, hole saw, knockout punch

+ Cut, thread, and install black pipe

+ Drive forklift to load/unload trucks
