Shovel Driver

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks as assigned by the shift supervisor.
• Ensure all assigned work is completed on time.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the plant by operating the sweeper at the entrance and plant routes as scheduled.
• Inspect and ensure shovel, lorry, and sweeper are in good condition using the vehicle maintenance checklist.
• Promptly report any vehicle abnormalities to the immediate superior.
• Achieve monthly and yearly production targets.
• Assist superior with non-routine work as instructed.
• Attend and actively participate in monthly section meetings.
• Safely load and unload raw materials using shovel or lorry within the given timeframe.
• Minimize vehicle breakdowns by adhering to proper usage and maintenance practices.
• Undertake any other assignments given by the superior as and when required.
