Siding supervisor

The incumbent in this role is responsible is to manage the day to day stockyard and logistics activities as well as to ensure timeous submission of rail intents and loading of trains in accordance with the TFR standard conditions of carriage. Key Responsibilities : Ensure the trains are loaded according to the plan - correctly and timeously Coordinate the day to day scheduling and blending activities to control quality and meet the required specifications Conducting daily coal inspections, ensuring procedures are adhered to and area of responsibility is well maintained Ensuring Subordinates are equipped and knowledgeable about train and loading procedures. Maintain production statistics and manage documentation of stockpile reconciliations Adhering to Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
