Sister/Charge Nurse - Cambridge Dialysis Centre

An exciting opportunity for a full time (37.5 hours per week) band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse is now available at Cambridge Dialysis Centre, working for Addenbrookes Trust, at an off site Dialysis unit in Fen Ditton Cambridge.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Sister in the overall running of the ward and the coordination of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a safe and effective standard of patient care.
• Be a team leader for a group of patients receiving Haemodialysis in a clinical area.
• Provide leadership on both acute and chronic dialysis setting.
• Provide cover for the on call roster.
• On application, you should be an excellent team member with evidence of good communication and organisational skills and recent experience of caring for haemodialysis patients in the chronic or acute care setting.
