Senior EHS Leader

The Senior EHS Leader is responsible for shaping and executing the Environmental, Health & Safety strategy for a major heavy‑engineering manufacturing site entering a significant period of expansion. The role provides strategic oversight, governance, and operational leadership to ensure all construction and manufacturing activities meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance, worker safety, environmental protection, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Strategic EHS Leadership : Develop and deliver the site’s long‑term EHS strategy aligned to corporate objectives, future growth, and UK/EU regulations. Advise senior leadership on EHS matters related to large‑scale CAPEX projects, manufacturing risks, and environmental impact. Lead EHS input into the steam turbine factory extension programme.
