Site Fitter
Location: Batley, West Yorkshire, WF17
Contract type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £16.50-£17.00 per hour
This role is offered by Stoa Recruitment on behalf of an established steel fabrication business in Batley, West Yorkshire.
The Role
As a Site Fitter you will be installing architectural staircases, balustrades, handrails, and glass panels in mild and stainless steel across various sites. You will work from site packs, lead semi‑skilled fitters on site, and take ownership of delivering a quality finish on time and to standard every time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Fabricating and fitting secondary steelwork and architectural metalwork — stairs, balustrades, handrails, and glass panels
- Working from site packs including RAMS, drawings, parts lists, and bolt lists
