Site Safety & Health Officer

We are hiring an experienced Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) to support a high-visibility federal project at the Department of Veterans Affairs' in Amherst, MA. This position is a critical role in maintaining a safe and compliant jobsite during the execution of masonry work. The selected candidate will be the designated SSHO for the Prime Contractor and will be responsible for the full implementation and management of safety and health protocols on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the lead safety official on site, ensuring all activities comply with OSHA standards and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations
• Implement and maintain a comprehensive site-specific APP.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, hazard analysis, and toolbox talks with all site personnel
