Site Supervisor - Strand

The purpose of the role is to oversee the work activities of the hygiene team to ensure that the site is handed over to the client according to the required hygiene standards. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for training the hygiene team in using all equipment and chemicals in a safe manner, as well as taking responsibility for site safety and making sure that teams perform tasks timeously.

Summary of responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage a team to produce a food-safe site, daily. 


• Manage and achieve the Budgeted Man-hours and Purchases in their Section. 


• Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment with compliance to all statutory safety regulations. 


• Manage individual and team performance; coach and develop staff. 


• Responsible for all Operational activities in their section, including operational problem solving.
